Nicole Scherzinger, Betty White Confirmed for Men in Black 3 Posted: 29 Oct 2010 11:10 AM PDT Wil Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are gearing up to start filming on the next installment of their popular Men In Black film. We have just learned that Betty White and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls have confirmed to be signed on to star in the upcoming Men In Black 3 project. Nicole told E! Online at last nights Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute that she starts rehearsal next week and the film starts shooting in December. She said this about her role: “My name is Lilly. She’s like a small villain role. I’m so excited because I get to die. I make an appearance. Jessica Simpson went out Thursday night at the Red O restaurant in Los Angeles, where she spotted her ex-husband, Nick Lachey dining with his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo. According to spies at the restaurant, Jessica was downing the drinks left and right, just so she could manage them both being at the same place at the same time. After spotting the couple having dinner only three tables away, Jessica went off. She ignored Nick and Vanessa and told her server, “I hope Vanessa likes her clothes because I bought them for her, since Nick took all my money.” Oooh…someone sounds bitter! UK’s answer to canine expert, Cesar Milan, Amy Hatcher is making serious waves in the UK showbiz circuit and it looks like she could be about to embark on international domination. Amy who runs the Doodley Dog Centre in leafy Sussex with twin sister, Jane, has been a regular on UK Television helping troubled dog owners calm their pet pooches but with interest in Australia, New Zealand and indeed the US it’s no wonder she’s been dubbed the female answer to Cesar. “It’s been kind of crazy the past few years; I’ve been on heaps of TV shows and radio interviews but never expected this level of interest. David Beckham’s Hidden Camera Joke On ‘Ellen’ - Video Posted: 27 Oct 2010 01:47 PM PDT David Beckham went along with the funniest prank I’ve ever seen on television. He was backstage at the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and was told that a masseuse was there to give someone a massage. She obviously didn’t know who she was going to give a massage to, but it was hilarious. David went in with an earpiece and told the masseuse everything that Ellen said. He had her to where she wouldn’t use her thumbs for his massage, only her two index fingers and humming “Happy Birthday”. The video is really funny, you have to drop what you’re doing and watch this now: I love that he says he doesn’t want to be David Beckham and that he only wants to relax. He asks her to call him Ricky. They join their energy and he complains throughout that he felt a thumb. What was your favorite part? I love the “it’s so hard to be pretty” part…Ha. And he never even cracked a smile once! He told her, “Just hum near the muscle”, as she hummed “Happy Birthday” and he sang over her. Too funny.

Mariah Carey To Confirm Pregnancy? Posted: 27 Oct 2010 12:24 PM PDT Rumors have been floating around for ages that Mariah Carey is pregnant with hubby Nick Cannon’s baby, but they have yet to confirm the news. They’ve hinted around, but nothing concrete has been said. It’s a shame that they feel the need to tapdance around the subject so much. Just a simple “yes” or “no” will do just fine. But I can see where it might be considered an insult, especially if she really isn’t pregnant (spoiler alert: she is). Mariah apparently wants to change all of that. When Nick called her on the air for his 92.3 radio show, she said that she would be making an appearance on “The Today Show” tomorrow morning to discuss [drum roll] her new album, “Merry Christmas II You”. Just take this recent story on James Franco and how he used Adderall to complete an entire book called “Palo Alto”, in just one night. Sure, it’s a book of short stories, but seriously? The news came from a fake interview from Thought Catalog, who said, “Thought Catalog tried to interview Franco about his book but quickly hit a wall. So we just decided to make one up." Perez, obviously without reading the story, ran with it, reporting it as fact. Being that Gossip Cop has a nasty vendetta against Mario, they posted this, “That's right. Perez admonished Franco, based on a fake ‘interview.’ Who's the joke on now?” We badgered Tila Tequila over the same kind of reporting, but she’s still relatively new to the gossip game. Perez should know better. And Gossip Cop is there to let you know of his every mistake. After being called out, Perez has taken down the posting in lieu of accurately reporting the facts. Rupert Grint, in an interview with Parade Magazine admitted that he was shocked to see how badly he had been aged in the last film. “I don’t age gracefully in the last film when all of us get older,” he told Parade magazine. “My hair is still red but I have a lot less of it. “It was quite a shock when I saw myself in the mirror. James Cameron to do Back to Back Avatar Sequels Posted: 27 Oct 2010 08:44 AM PDT Breaking news this morning. It has been confirmed that James Cameron is set to film back to back sequel installments to his blockbuster 3D epic, Avatar. Cameron says that 20th Century Fox made a substantially large donation to his environmental green fund, and in return has committed to making Avatar 2 and 3 his next projects. We originally reported that the Oscar winning director was in talks to direct Angelina Jolie in the upcoming Cleopatra project. However, he has since backed out. Avatar is the highest earning film of all time, breaking box office records by making over 2.8 billion dollars worldwide. It’s also the highest Bluray and DVD earner of all time. So it’s no wonder Fox wants to get the ball rolling on the next two films. Cameron, along with Jon Landau will be on board as producers under Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. The company is projecting a December 2014 release for the 2nd film, and December 2015 for the 3rd. Personally, I would rather have seen him helm the Cleopatra project… I was NOT a fan of Avatar. Eva Longoria & Tony Parker Sued Over Car Accident Posted: 26 Oct 2010 10:49 PM PDT Eva Longoria was in a bit of a fender bender last week, and now the other driver is suing her and her husband, Tony Parker. The second driver, Roman Gasparyan, claims that he was in the median waiting to make a left turn when Eva, coming from the opposite direction, hit his BMW. He claims that she “made a sudden lane change into the median lane” where she collided with his vehicle. In addition to the damage to his vehicle, he claims that he also suffered mentally and physically and is suing the celebrity couple for unspecified damages. Tony is included in the lawsuit because is the registered owner of the vehicle she was driving. Limewire Shuts Down Posted: 26 Oct 2010 07:44 PM PDT After ten years of existence, peer-to-peer music sharing service LimeWire is joining Napster, Kazaa, and all the rest. LimeWire will abide by a court-ordered injunction today and begin to disable the file-sharing and music-searching features of its P2P software. Years of legal battles and the prospects of paying astronomical fines finally did the service in. “This is an official notice that LimeWire is under a court-ordered injunction to stop distributing and supporting its file-sharing software. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization is illegal.” TechCrunch reports that the company, LimeCompany, will soldier on. Transitioning to a music store or legal streaming music service, however, will be tough. It fought a good fight, and lasted longer than most other P2P services. Partly that was because there was usually a bigger P2P sharing service freaking out the music industry. Once the lawyers got rid of those, they finally got around to LimeWire. Still, it took them the better part of a decade to get LimeWire to comply with an injunction. I always thought those file sharing sites were only good at passing viruses — I never stopped buying CD’s. What are your thoughts, do you file share?

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Six Elimination Recap Posted: 26 Oct 2010 05:55 PM PDT It’s results night on this week’s “Dancing With The Stars” and it’s anyone’s guess as to who’s going to be sent packing! Kurt Warner didn’t do so hot last night, so I’m thinking he’s going to be the next victim. Starting the elimination, they’ve announced that Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya are safe, along with Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas. This leaves Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough in jeopardy. The judges asked to see Bristol and Mark’s Tango again. Ugh. I just wanna barf. How does she continue to escape elimination? Heart performed their hit song, “Barracuda”, much to my liking. They rocked! The next couple safe are Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke, leaving Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer in jeopardy. Performing her new song, “Get Outta My Way” off of her new album, “Aphrodite”, is Kylie Minogue. Her performance was nothing special. Where’s Heart? Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - Teaser Trailer Posted: 26 Oct 2010 11:52 AM PDT Captain Jack Sparrow and his latest adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is set to sail into theaters on May 20, 2011. Along for the ride are Geoffrey Rush, a pregnant Penelope Cruz and Keith Richards reprising his role as Sparrows’ father. It has been reported that most, if not all of Richards scenes in the film are to be cut out, due to admissions of past drug use in a book he recently published entitled “Life“. Greyson Chance Performs New Song, ‘Waiting Outside The Lines’ - Video Posted: 26 Oct 2010 10:48 AM PDT Greyson Chance rose to popularity and fame when he performed Lady Gaga’s song, “Paparazzi” at his school. The video was put on Youtube where he got the ear of some pretty famous people. Ellen DeGeneres had him perform on her show and then snapped him up with a quickness and the rest is, well, history. Fast forward several months and Greyson is releasing his debut single, “Waiting Outside The Lines”. Just watch and listen, this kid is a musical genius. In the taped performance set to go live on Ellen’s show at 4PM today, Greyson belts out the song with all of his heart. He is a true talent and this is evidenced by his amazing skill with his vocals as well as his piano playing. Watch out Justin Bieber! Charlie Sheen Hospitalized After Hooker Romp Posted: 26 Oct 2010 08:37 AM PDT Charlie Sheen was taken to a hospital in New York last night after a sexcapade with a hooker went South. Reportedly, the woman snagged his wallet and he went ballistic when he realized it went missing. Earlier this year, it was said that Charlie was utilizing the services of a hooker that ran him $2500 per night, so this news doesn’t really come as a surprise. What’s funny is how he went nuts, throwing chairs and busting up a chandelier after he found out that she stole his wallet. Cops arrived on scene after the scared woman called security. She hid in the bathroom after he started throwing crap all over the place. Police were close to arresting Charlie over the kerfuffle, but told him that he needed to go to the hospital ASAP. He was convinced that he was fine, but they insisted that it was either the hospital or jail. It was a wise decision, considering that he’s a mere eight days from completing his probation after he pleaded guilty to assault back in August. Since Charlie wasn’t arrested, we’re still unsure as to whether or not the hooker incident constituted a violation of his probation. Harry Potter Designer Thieve Alexander McQueen Designs? Posted: 26 Oct 2010 08:13 AM PDT Here’s a bit of a “Harry Potter” fashion spoiler for you. Apparently the designer for the movie franchise decided to rip off a design from late fashion designer Alexander McQueen for the design for Fleur Delacour’s dress. It’s a lovely dress and totally appropriate for her dances with Bill Weasley in the movie, but they snagged it from McQueen’s fall 2008 collection. In the dancing scenes, Fleur wears the frothy organza dress with the two phoenixes. Designer Jany Temime said, “Fleur’s dress is made in organza and decorated with a pair of phoenixes that face one another on the bodice and form the silhouette of a heart. I chose the phoenix because, like love, it is eternal.” Refinery29 reports: If we’re going to believe that the magical crew follows the same “Something borrowed, something blue” custom, they have nothing to worry about. Lela London noticed some elements that Jany borrowed from Alexander McQueen’s iconic fall ‘08 collection. The only noticeable differences seem to be the heads of the birds (from peacocks to phoenixes), the length of the gown, and the neckline. We bet Jany’s pretty bummed the Confundus Charm doesn’t actually work—people probably aren’t going to soon forget that this swipe happened.
