GRAMMYs 2011 Official After-Party (Videos)

Posted: 14 Feb 2011 01:29 AM PST

Allie is Wired had a fabulous time at the Official Grammy After- Party! The theme, Studio 54, filled the LA Convention center with disco balls, light-up dance floors, roller skaters and more. And what would a party be without a photo booth? Guests had a chance to dress-up in sunglasses and hats for instant limited edition photos provided by HP.

Wolfgang Puck’s team served up delicious home-style mac & cheese, chicken fingers, and baked potatoes. As if that wasn’t enough, at every corner you could find a Mexican taco bar or Asian inspired dishes. The Roots opened the evening with a few of their hits and even did a great rendition of Guns ‘N Roses Sweet Child o’ Mine. There’s nothing more Grammys than eating dinner while The Roots are playing!

One of the main performers of the night was Keri Hilson and she rocked the house with a combination of party hits and beautiful ballads. The girl can sing and she looked fabulous doing it! We weren’t the only ones watching- Stevie Wonder was at the party as well.

Keri Hilson tweeted a pic of her and the legendary Stevie Wonder:

Keri even covered Grammy Award Winner, Bruno Mars’ Grenade! See her cover and Pretty Girl Rock below:

Make sure to check out more pictures of the entertainers, HP Photo booths and our HP/Allie is Wired contest winner, Kim. Thanks HP for sending us to the Official After-Party. We had a blast!

Ce-Low Green, Gwyneth Paltrow and The Muppets Explosion (Video)

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 08:00 PM PST

We knew that Cee Lo Green‘s Grammy performance would be “weird and cool,” and his peacock-feathered, puppet-backed performance of "Forget You" didn’t disappoint.

And Gwyneth Paltrow wore a tasteful black jumpsuit that looked positively ridiculous set against the puppet color-explosion rainbow everywhere else.

Dressed in a Technicolor turkey outfit accented by a metal chest plate, I couldn’t help but think… it’s Elton John! Alright, so it wasn’t Kermit and Miss Piggy, but we knew that going in.

Anyway…their performance was nuts. High point: Gwyneth dancing on top of Cee Lo's silver-studded piano.

Is Christina Aguilera Pregnant? – Video

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 07:49 PM PST

People have been speculating that Christina Aguilera is pregnant ever since she performed her song “Burlesque” at the American Music Awards. She performed in a tight black bodysuit, sparking speculation that she is pregnant by her new boyfriend, Matthew Rutler.

Every time Christina performs on stage as of late, the rumors keep popping up. And you would think she wouldn’t have worn something so tight to perform in, right? Poor thing, someone needs to fire her stylist already. It’s like she didn’t even check a mirror before going on stage.

Check out the video of her performance at tonight’s Grammy Awards!

And to top things off, Christina took a tumble on stage during her last performance tonight! It looks like someone is NOT having a good year already! She already fumbled the National Anthem and now this!

Check out the video below:

Wow, things are not going well for Christina. We know that she’s been having problems at home, but dang girl, get it together!

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Dodge Romance Rumors At Grammys

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 06:54 PM PST

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have shared a pancake date, been on vacation together and have shared a movie together, but still they have yet to confirm that they’re actually dating!

They’ve been dodging letting the cat out of the bag by actually confirming their relationship status and at tonight’s Grammys — they’re keeping a tight lip as well! Did you expect anything different?!??

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Dodge Romance Rumors At Grammys

The twosome walked the red carpet separately, leaving fans to wonder even more. Selena walked the carpet first, wearing a gold gown. A little while later, Justin appeared on the red carpet in an all white suit.

They are probably just trying to keep their relationship private, while in the meantime, they’re kissing and cuddling on the beach together.

On the red carpet, she was asked if she got annoyed being linked to Justin. She said, “Yeah, of course. But it comes with the job. I love him, though. Very much.”

They should just come right out and say it already, it’s not like Justin’s fans don’t already know that they’re dating. Right? What do you think??? Sound off in the comments below!

Lady Gaga Arrives At Grammys In A Womb (Video)

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 06:10 PM PST

Lady Gaga arrived at the Grammys in a womb and it will all make sense!

Okay, not totally, but at least we know it was part of her performance of her much-anticipated new single "Born This Way." And, yeah, it might make the tiniest bit of sense to us.

Gaga conducted her red carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest from inside the egg. She had to top raw meat, ha!

The egg had an oxygen tank and a fan — so the singer was more than comfortable until she was able to emerge and perform.

Madonna Responds To Lady Gaga ‘Express Yourself’ Controversy

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 10:09 AM PST

With the recent surge of comparisons between Lady Gaga‘s newly released single Born This Way and Madonna‘s 1989 classic Express Yourself (I’ve received TONS of emails), the last person you’d expect to hear from is the legend herself.

She just doesn’t normally address this sort of thing.

It is certainly curious that a 1989 performance of “Express Yourself” at the MTV Video Music Awards was uploaded to the pop legend’s official YouTube channel yesterday.

Is Madonna trying to send a message? Are rumors of the song’s re-release true? Only time will tell, but for now, speculation is sure to continue as the songs’ similarities remain a hot topic.

GRAMMY®s 2011 Live Blogging!

Posted: 13 Feb 2011 08:31 AM PST

Who will win best album at the GRAMMY®s this year? And what will Lady Gaga wear to the show? Will it be edible, flammable or both?

These are some of the questions yet to be answered as we head into tonight's 2011 Grammy Awards®, to be broadcast on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET.

Pop star and Grammy-nominee Rihanna is due to perform with Drake, but is in a race against time — and illness — to make her scheduled performance. On Thursday night, she tweeted to a fan: “Bronchitis and laryngitis boo! I’m still goin to rehearsals tho! Sunday is everything.”

Things seemed all systems go after rehearsals — at least as far as one Grammy rep knew, saying, “We have not heard anything suggesting she isn’t making it, as far as we know she will still be performing on Sunday.”

So what’s the latest from the singer herself? Saturday night, she tweeted to Ryan Seacrest, “I’m on every med under the sun! Don’t wanna miss a thang!!!”

Other performances include: a tribute to Aretha Franklin from Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, and Florence Welch. Bob Dylan will perform with the Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons in a tribute to acoustic music. And Dr. Dre, who is readying a new album, will turn in a rare live performance alongside Eminem. Other performers will include singer-actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Spalding, Arcade Fire, B.o.B, Katy Perry, and The Bieber.

Join Allie is Wired, and our own Ashley Torres, as we hang with the stars! (Many thanks to our wonderful sponsor, HP!)
