| ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week Eight Recap Posted: 08 Nov 2010 06:13 PM PST Last week, on “Dancing With The Stars”, we saw the elimination of Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke, unexpectedly. This week, the dancers have to prepare a routine, but didn’t find out their songs until today. Up first are Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer doing the Viennese Waltz. It was a wonderful dance, they did a really good job. Score: 27 points.  Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough are up next doing the Quickstep. It seemed a bit slow for my liking, but the judges seemed to love it. Score: 27 points. Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya are next, doing the Waltz. The dance was okay and more refined than normal, but still a little stiff. Score: 24 points. Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas are dancing the Argentine Tango next and it’s better than her previous performances, but still a touch robotic. Score: 24 points. Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are dancing the Viennese Waltz. They’re doing a beautiful job with this dance, it’s very slow and sensual. Score: 29 points. Instance Dances Kyle and Lacey are doing the Jive for their instant dance….I have to say, this boy can move. Very well done. Score: 29 points. Jennifer and Derek are doing the Rhumba for their instant dance. It was nice and smooth, nicely done. Score: 30 points. Kurt and Anna are doing the Cha Cha Cha for their instant dance. They look like they’re having a good time and the dance is cute. Kurt is shakin’ his butt! Nice. Score: 24 points. Bristol and Mark are dancing the Samba for their instant dance. Poor Bristol, she looks like a bored transvestite in that makeup and her dancing ability. Score: 23 points. Brandy and Maks are dancing the Cha Cha for their instant dance. I couldn’t stop watching Maks’ butt, he’s just so fine. Great dance, it was awesome. Score: 28 points. Who’s going home on tomorrow’s show??? |
| Warner Bros To Build Harry Potter Museum At Leavesden Studios! Posted: 08 Nov 2010 05:05 PM PST A decade's long obsession with the magical world of the Harry Potter films is fast coming to a close. As the actors and crew pack up and move on, we the fans must prepare for life without Hogwarts or Muggles or Wizards. Warner Brothers Studios who produced the series has provided a silver lining to this cloud; They have just bought Leavesden Studios (where the HP movies were filmed) in the U.K., and are planning to open a Harry Potter museum on the site! WB's CEO and chairman Barry Meyer said;
There are plans to build two new soundstages to house TONS of movie memorabilia, including sets from the Harry Potter films such as Hogwarts, and Hogsmeade. Public tours will be held daily for fans to get behind the scenes of their favorite movies. Tentative completion date is Easter 2012. | Robert Pattinson Refuses Burberry Modeling Offer Posted: 08 Nov 2010 02:24 PM PST Robert Pattinson struggled as a model before rising to fame as Edward Cullen in “The Twilight Saga” vampire movies. Since, he’s been offered a cool million bucks to be the face of Burberry’s new campaign. But, I guess a million dollars isn’t everything when you’re the world’s most wanted vampire.  Of course Rob wants to be more known for his acting career, and not being a model. He rejected the offer, saying, “I’m an actor, not a model.” He struggled as a teen model and once said that he had “the most unsuccessful modeling career”. Now, he can even afford to turn down offers such as these, whereas I bet as a teen, he would’ve been jumping all over something like this for a lot less money. But I digress. A source said, “Christopher Bailey and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down. As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything.” Do you think he should’ve said yes? | Backstreet Boys & NKOTB Announce 2011 Tour Posted: 08 Nov 2010 12:24 PM PST The Backstreet Boys and the New Kids On The Block are going on tour! This is not a joke!! It was announced earlier today on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. The two boy bands are taking the stage starting next summer! Woot! I’m totally getting tickets!  NKOTBSB will be sharing the stage, starting in the summer of 2011. Tickets for this event are set to go on sale on November 19th at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.cocm.

You’re going to be eighteen soon and this is probably only a small sign of things to come.  [image credit: splash news] Miley performed her song, “Who Owns My Heart” on the German show, “Wetten Das” in a white see-through dress/whatever/covering (?) — I’m not really sure yet what that is that she’s wearing….Any guesses? A sheet maybe? The photo agency credits this photo with the caption, “Superstar Miley Cyrus as the super-sexy guest on the German TV-show “Wetten, dass..?” in Germany.” But, we’re still not sure what to make of it. Besides, it just looks trashy of her, considering that she’s still only a teenager. | Oprah Interviews Michael Jackson’s Mother & Kids Posted: 08 Nov 2010 10:51 AM PST In an interview that airs today, Oprah Winfrey talked to Katherine Jackson, along with grandchildren Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket about their famous father. Also along for the ride, was Michael’s father Joe…even though I’m still trying to figure out why he made an appearance.  Paris talked about the kind of father Michael was, saying that no one really knew that side of him. She said, “I kind of felt like no one understood what a good father he was. He was the best cook ever. He was just a normal dad. He made the best French toast in the world. He just made the best breakfasts in the world.” Paris and Prince also went on to reveal that Michael was a strict father, but he did allow them sweets. Paris said, “He tried to raise us without us knowing who he was, but that didn’t really go so well.” Paris and Prince went on to reveal their favorite memories of their father. Prince said, “We were in Bahrain, and we used to wake up early and walk on the beach.” Paris added, “One time we were on the roof of the Luxor in Las Vegas, just saw all the city lights. We were eating Snickers, we had some soda. Sometimes he would take me to a museum, because we both loved art. We’d play tag outside. He got us Kenya [their dog] four years ago.” Paris told Oprah what she wants to be when she grows up. She said, “I’d like to be an actress when I’m older. I sometimes do improv. I used to do it with my dad.” Prince revealed his favorite pastimes were “video games and sports” and said that he wants to “producer movies and direct” when he’s older. Oprah then asked the kids, “What do you miss the most?”, to which Paris replied, “Everything.” Katherine talked about how the doctors made her come to the hospital to hear the news of Michael’s passing, straight from Dr. Murray himself. She said that was the saddest day of her life. She went on to say that she tried to keep him away from drugs like Propofol, along with plastic surgeries. | Daniel Radcliffe Spoofs Edward Cullen On ‘The Simpsons’ - Video Posted: 08 Nov 2010 09:27 AM PST On the Halloween episode of “The Simpsons”, Daniel Radcliffe takes aim at “Twilight” vampire Edward Cullen as Lisa’s boyfriend, Edmund. Lisa falls for Edmund after he saves her from an accident with a school bus, which almost hits her.  It’s all part of Fox’s annual Treehouse Of Horror series for Halloween. Real life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart filmed a super sweet kiss on the set of their upcoming movie, “Breaking Dawn” in Rio De Janeiro on Sunday. And she’s wearing a ring!!! The twosome filmed Bella and Edward’s honeymoon scenes, which takes place on the Isle of Esme. They danced and kissed all day, and we’re sure they didn’t mind filming these scenes at all!
