| AllieIsWired Previews TNT’s ‘Men Of A Certain Age’ Posted: 24 Nov 2009 12:11 AM PST TNT is premiering its new series, “Men Of A Certain Age” on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10pm. The show follows three guys, Terry, Owen, and Joe, as they keep in touch well into their forties (ie: that certain age).  Starring in this funny comedy/drama are Scott Bakula (Terry), Ray Romano (Joe), and Andre Braugher (Owen). Terry is the ladies man and a former actor-cum-telemarketer, Joe is the owner of his own store as well as a gambling addict, and Owen is a used car salesman with health problems. The show is about the the “highs and lows of being a guy in the modern era”, according to Senior Vice President in charge of content creation, Michael Wright. He added, “It’s about three best friends, each hoping to fulfill his dreams before the clock starts running out. It’s an honest, emotional, funny and very personal take on the subject.” I watched the pilot episode and thought it was great. I can’t fail to mention the soundtrack for the show, which includes Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again”, CCR’s “Up Around The Bend”, and Styx’s “The Best Of Times” and how awesome that was. Watch the preview, below: Ray Romano really brings the cutesie jokes in the show, while Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula’s characters are responsible for the added drama. | Rabid Miley Cyrus Fan Cooks & Eats Fuzzy The Cat Posted: 23 Nov 2009 09:52 PM PST Now this has to be the grossest thing ever. Remember that crazed fan who said that he was going to cook and eat his cat, Fuzzy, if Miley Cyrus didn’t return to Twitter?  Well it’s all over for Fuzzy. Today, the website owner has updated the site to say that he recently took Fuzzy to the vet and had him euthanized. True to his word, he brought Fuzzy home in a bag and cooked him up for dinner. If you go to the website, you will see a huge red warning sign with a bunch of arrows that lead you to photos of a “dead Fuzzy”. In the text below the warning, the author details the trip to the vet in which Fuzzy gets his death sentence. He lied to the vet, claiming that there was no one to care for Fuzzy when he moves, so the vet reluctantly agreed to euthanize him. He said that he brought Fuzzy home dead and cooked up some fried cat strips from an old Thai recipe. He enjoyed his kitty dinner with a nice cold Mountain Dew. For someone who has just lost a pet, he seemed to have written a lot about the cat murder and subsequent yummy dinner. | Kandi Burruss’ Ex-Fiance, A.J. Jewell, To Be Exhumed Posted: 23 Nov 2009 09:00 PM PST Kandi Burruss stars on “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” and her ex-fiance, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell was murdered outside of an Atlanta nightclub earlier this year.  Frederick Richardson was subsequently arrested for voluntary manslaughter after Jewell passed away due to head trauma. Authorities claimed that the blunt force trauma to the head was the culprit for his death, but since, a medical examiner has also cited sickle cell disease as a possible contributor. This proclamation has angered his family, who have set forth to prove that A.J. was murdered. His father, Rev. A.B. Jewell, Sr., said, “I want the public to know my son did not have sickle cell disease. I hope this next autopsy will prove that my son was murdered.” The family’s rep, Markel Hutchins, said, that having played a part in the “Real Housewives” may have hindered the investigation into Jewell’s death. | Lady Gaga Buys Pizza For Waiting Fans - Photo Posted: 23 Nov 2009 07:17 PM PST Unlike some people, Lady Gaga really does appreciate her fans. After waiting outside of the Best Buy for hours to purchase “The Fame Monster”, Gaga showed her appreciation by buying the fans pizza!  The new album made its debut today at stores all over the world and Gaga was elated that her fans support her. She tweeted, “to all my beautiful fans, i love you more than anything. thanku 4 making the fame monster #1 on itunes. you are the only reward i need xgaga”. Afterward, she added, “Sending all my little monsters little pizzas for waiting all night for me at best buy. I hope you’re hungry…eat up I love u!” Kudos to Gaga for being so kind to her little monsters! Get out there and buy “The Fame Monster” today…it really is awesome. | Nick Jonas Carries A Murse - Photos Posted: 23 Nov 2009 06:46 PM PST Nick and Joe Jonas were walking along in London this afternoon, after taking a day off from their world tour.  The funny thing is, 17-year-old Nick Jonas was photographed with a murse! While I’m sure it has compartments for all of his necessities, it’s just weird to see a teenage boy carrying one. Maybe that’s where he keeps his fan’s drawings? I mean, besides the garbage can, that is. I know all of the Jonas Brothers fans are probably screaming at their monitors now, saying, “It’s a satchel! Not a purse!” Sure it’s not, sweetie, you keep on believing that. The proof is in the pictures. Is Nicky Jonas gay? | ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season Finale Tonight! Posted: 23 Nov 2009 06:15 PM PST The top three on “Dancing With The Stars”, Donny Osmond, Kelly Osbourne, and Mya are the best of the best, and are proud that they’ve made it this far.  Kicking off the show are Kelly and Louie doing the Argentine Tango. With some tips from Carrie Ann, they did a great job and scored 26. Mya and Dmitry are doing the Paso Doble next and with the aid of Len, they rocked it. The judges were all in agreement and were eating up their performance with a total score of 30. Donny and Kym danced next, dancing the Cha Cha Cha and this is the first time Donny had a blast, even though the music sucked. The judges loved it and gave them a score of 27. Mixing things up in the megamix, the finalists are dancing three styles back to back, in unison. They will be changing off from the Viennese Waltz, to the Samba, and the Jive. They are look so happy and excited to be a part of the finale. Mya and Dmitry scored the highest with 30, followed by Donny and Kym with 28, leaving 26 to Kelly and Louie. The final round is the Freestyle round, which can really make or break the competition. Up first are Kelly and Louis, and they’re taking risks! She looks a bit like she’s taking it easy due to her problems with her feet. She also fell, too, but the effort was definitely there. They scored 24. Up next are Mya and Dmitry, who look like they’re going to walk away with the trophy. They aren’t having any mercy on the other contestants, yet the judges weren’t too fond of it. They scored 27 points. Bringing up the tail end of the dance competition are Donny and Kym, as Donny vowed not to let anything distract him. Their performance was adorable, as well as their outfits. So cute! Loved it! They scored 30! Who are you rooting for??? |
| Katie Price Quits ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ Posted: 23 Nov 2009 12:01 PM PST Katie Price has tossed in the towel on her stint on “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” After being put through some pretty wicked bug eating, Jordan has left the jungle!  She begged viewers not to be put through another trial, which she referred to as “crap”, after she was taped eating at Krunchy Fried Bug and being splattered with gunk. When quitting the show, she said, “I can’t take any more. I can’t do another trial. I’m walking. There’s only so much crap one person can take.” Folks who are on Team Andre really put her through the wringer. She said that she felt like she’s the most hated woman in Britain. I think that crown would go to Heather Mills, but that’s just me. Bet they couldn’t get her to go on the show. Maybe they could if they threw in some vegetarian cheeseburgers for hungry families? Katie said, “The way I’ve been treated on the show by the viewers, you’d think I was the most hated woman in Britain.” After her quitting proclamation, show producers tried begging her to stay, but she was unmoved. She added, “It is getting beyond a joke.” She was set to be lowered into a pit of pythons for the next trial. | Emma Watson Hooking Up With Rafael Cabrian? - Photos Posted: 23 Nov 2009 11:35 AM PST Emma Watson may be dating financier Jay Barrymore, but she was last spotted at the Rangers Ice Hockey game with her good friend, Rafael Cabrian.  The two looked close as they shared some cotton candy and whispered into each other’s ears. Also with her was Derek Blasberg, another good friend. But it was Rafael, who apparently had her ear for the whole night, besides taking a moment to take a call. I don’t think her boyfriend Jay would appreciate these photos, would he? At least it would be a total upgrade. This Spanish drummer is hot!
