| Antonella Barba Releases New Music Video Posted: 27 Jun 2010 09:06 PM PDT Remember American Idol contestant Antonella Barba? Antonella was first seen on television at the New York auditions of Idol in a January 2007 episode. She auditioned with her friend Amanda Collucio; after Collucio sang her rendition of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” Barba took center stage and belted out a smooth performance of Deniece Williams’ “Free.”  Barba received notoriety beyond the show when a series of racy photographs of her surfaced on the Internet prior to the final twelve contestants being chosen. These included photos of her posing in a wet t-shirt in the fountain of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C Barba’s pictures caused controversy because she was not dismissed from the show. In American Idol (season 2) contender Frenchie Davis was dismissed because of the topless photos she took in 1998 when 19 years old. In an interview conducted for The New York Post on Monday, March 5, 2007, Davis said,

| Joe Jonas Tweets About His African Adventure Posted: 27 Jun 2010 08:39 PM PDT Joe Jonas took to his official Twitter account to let his fans in on his excitement as he trekked to Africa recently.  Joe detailed his trip and how he spent time with the children there on cold nights. He said:
He said that it made him sad to leave and that he almost brought back some kids with him. He said, “I also spent time with some of the babies that were born to mothers carrying the HIV AIDS virus. Out of the entire trip this was one of the most touching moments. I miss those children already. I was close to coming back home with many Joe Jr.s.” He signed off his message with an inspirational thought. He concluded, “For the future, I plan on going back to Africa, as well as other nations, to help out in any way I can. I feel like hands-on work is where I feel most satisfied. I look forward to going to different places – not only Africa where I have new friends – but all around the world. | Posted: 27 Jun 2010 08:24 PM PDT Rihanna was said to be caught red-handed after puffing on some marijuana at a high class hotel in Barbados recently.  A newspaper in Barbados published the above blind item about the singer, but it has been rumored that Rihanna has also been banned from the hotel after her and her crew’s shenanigans. The paper reports, “Security had to be constantly knocking on the door because the smoke alarm would not stop going off, and from what we understand, a very familiar cigarette odor was detected each time.” The paper also mentions that she was there with an ex-boyfriend, who both wrecked the place. I wonder who that could’ve been… And we’re not going to bash anyone for lighting up a spliff and enjoying themselves, but don’t trash the place, girl! | Justin Bieber Has Gotten His Drivers License Posted: 27 Jun 2010 08:01 PM PDT Justin Bieber has just gotten his Georgia drivers license! You know he’s happy…even though he doesn’t look it.  The sixteen-year-old star mugged it up for the camera and didn’t look any better than you or I in our drivers license photo. That’s reassuring. I guess being a huge star doesn’t mean anything to the DMV for this photo op. He just doesn’t look the same without his trademark side-swept hair, does he? The Biebz also performed his song “Down To Earth” from his debut album, “My World” to a horde of fans: He said that he wrote the song about his parent’s divorce. About the song, he said, “The most personal song I've written is 'Down to Earth' because it's about how my mom and dad split up when I was at a young age. It's just about everyday life and how there are struggles.” Such a sad song.
