Jersey Shore Cast Hits Up ‘The View’

The “Jersey Shore” cast stopped by “The View” today, but the showdown we were hoping for never went down.

Although Joy Behar endeavored admirably to get the Jersey Shore cast to gossip about the details of their lives, the cast didn’t take themselves too seriously.

Behar tried her best to get the cast to dish on sex, money, and terminology. Yet she was unable to glean anything of tabloid value from questions such as whether or not they used condoms or how Italian they actually are.

When asked about the moment she knew she was truly famous, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi quipped,

“Pretty much at birth. Just my personality and my look. I don’t know. I mean just look at me. I have good style. I think it’s all the hair.”

Yeah right… it’s all in the hair [cough!]

While Snooki arguably has found the most fame from the reality show, the cast maintains that they’re not jealous of each other at all and they all remain optimistic but level-headed.

And he still looks like mountain man, good God, will someone attack this man with a razor in his sleep already? If he wanted to mark his territory (read: show ~~Jennifer Aniston~~ the world that they’re still together), then why didn’t he just pee on her.

It works for dogs. I’m just sayin’. Tell me that you don’t remember when Brad was hot.

Lindsay Lohan Blames Dad for Drug Use

Lindsay Lohan’s name has become synonymous with the words troubled wannabe starlet. She has gone from one of the hot actresses on “Mean Girls” to one of the hottest messes in Hollywood. She has been arrested for possession of cocaine, photographed and video tapped in multiple drunken states and has a Ambien habit that she mixes with other prescription drugs.

She was on her way to be a rom-com queen but has since been banned from fashion weeks, snubbed from sets to avoid drama and blacklisted from parties. Her non-stop issues has also cost her a girlfriend along with a career. She holds a candle for Samantha Ronson, but is willing to go back to the company of men if it doesn’t work out.

Who does she blame for the mess she has turned into? Her father, Michael Lohan, is who Lindsay points the finger at.

When my father was going public, that’s when I hit rock bottom. I abused substances too much and it wasn’t the answer to my problems. People need to know that. I tried to mask my problems with alcohol, cocaine and mind-altering substances. Now I’m in a place where I don’t need to use anything and I can feel emotions because I choose to.

Lohan even sources her father as the introduction to cocaine.

“I was only aware of cocaine because of my dad. I was terrified of it. But I tried it because I was stubborn, stupid, and wanted to see what it was like. It’s not something I ever want to do again. It made me feel like shit. It became uninteresting to me. I’m hyper anyway and I have that kind of personality so I don’t need something like that.”

Why she chose The Sun to share this story with I haven’t got a clue. I guess desperation knows no bounds. Should this be on a People magazine cover with a photo of Lilo looking super sowwry and big bold letters across her face reading “Rock Bottom and Back Again: A Coke Fiends Story” or something of that nature?

Regardless, the story continues with her ramblings of “being allowed to drink now” and I was a drunken mess because that’s what 18-year-olds are supposed to be.

“I’m allowed to drink now but I know my limits. There are certain situations where I have obligations. There’s no reason to (drink) because I don’t want to feel like s*** in the morning. The thing is, at the times I was going out a lot and being seen everywhere, I would have been in college. My brother, who is 18, and his friends go out to bars and stuff till whatever time. That’s what you do in college. Mine was all in the public eye so it was magnified that much more.

“I’ve now learned my boundaries and I’ve been very good with cleaning house with people who I know didn’t have my best intentions at heart. A lot of people in LA are very self destructive.”

Right. What legit programs lets their drunks sneak booze?

Lady Gaga is usually in the press for her knock-out performances and outlandish outfits. But we rarely hear about her personal life—until now! Rumor has it Gaga is something of a homewrecker!

Reportedly the pop singer stole her current boyfriend away from his previous relationship. According to the source, Matthew "Dada" Williams—who is an art director for Haus of Gaga—dumped his longtime girlfriend, fashion stylist Erin Hirsh.

"Matt was crazy about Erin, but then Gaga manipulated to get him back."

And Williams even has a son with Hirsh. Insiders say he left Erin and baby Cairo when he was just two months old in order to join Gaga on tour. Erin then saw photographs of her boyfriend in London making out with Gaga in a tabloid.

In related news, GaGa recently confessed that she's ready to settle down-and have babies!

She explained that she cannot wait to be married and have children, telling, "I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I am a very sentimental person and family is important to me."

Jennifer Love Hewitt turned 31 this weekend and because we are all eternally 12 still, she had a themed birthday party. The JLH Extravaganza was all about Lady Gaga style. Hewitt wore a tutu, tanks top and fishnet stockings. None of this screams Gaga, but the signature bow of hair is what drew it together. Basically if Gaga were in a 1983 workout video the product would be Jen's look.

Currently photos of her boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy, have yet to surface of his participation in the party. So of course tabloids are on red alert for break up reports. I am guessing he just played it under the radar for the time being and photos of him in red lace will be flying about soon.

Scratch that. The thought of that is terrifying.

It’s over for Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish, after she broke up with him and moved out. According to sources, the actress told him it was over and afterward removed her things from their shared home.

Her spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home.

While he was out toy shopping with his children, she packed up and booked out. It wasn’t without reason, either. Before you let Ryan cry on your shoulder, it was said that she suspected him of cheating.

Hey, once a cheater, always a cheater. You would think she wouldn’t have had high hopes for him considering how things ended with Reese Witherspoon. But you wouldn’t kick him out of bed, either, would you?

Her rep chose not to comment on the cheating rumors.

I’ve wondered why she was so adamant to not want to spend any time with him, but I’m glad that they’ve reconciled, instead of keeping on their separate paths.

Celebrities Play Poker to Fight Hunger

I had the absolute pleasure of covering the PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour Venetian in Las Vegas benefiting the Three Square Food Bank of Southern Nevada.

A host of celebrities and top poker players took part in a unique charity poker tournament. The event raised $43,025.00 for Three Square to help support their fight to end hunger.

Outside of their initial buy-in, many of the celebrities purchased additional chips — further supporting the cause and making the event a HUGE success!

Andy Schuricht, CFO for Three Square, said:

"The tournament has been absolutely fantastic. We have raised over $42,000 and that's enough to provide 129,000 meals for hungry men, women and children in Southern Nevada. We are delighted."

The tournament was won by Zak "Zakooza" Alameddine from New York who wins a ticket to next year's PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas. He beat off competition from top poker pros such as Daniel Negreanu, world champion Joe Cada, Gavin Griffin, Dennis Phillips, Chris Moneymaker and Vanessa Rousso – as well as baseball legend Orel Hershiser who was runner-up.

Zak Alameddine said of winning:

“I didn’t think I would be in this position and I am very happy. It was so much fun playing with all these classy, charitable, superstars - and winning was the icing on the cake.”

An after-party was held at the Venetian's celebrated Tao Nightclub with rapper T-Pain performing to hundreds of enthusiastic poker players are entertainment stars.
