| Trent Reznor To Score & Star in ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ Posted: 03 Mar 2011 10:54 AM PST Wow, can you believe that Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor now is an Oscar winning composer? It’s so surreal. (WOOT WOOT) Director Tim Burton has hired Trent on to do the score for his upcoming film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter along with co-oscar-winner Atticus Ross.
Not only will Reznor be scoring the film, but he has also won himself a role as well. Burton cast him as the vampire that kills Honest Abe’s mommy, and is the catalyst for the president’s revenge seeking ways. Pretty cool huh? When I first starting listening to Nine Inch Nails waaaaaay back in 1989 (wow I’m old!) I never figured that the world would truly appreciate the genius of Trent Reznor. I am very pleased that I was wrong. Even if it took like 20 something years to happen. Congratulations Trent, on both your Oscar win and your new found career in acting! Best of luck on both fronts, it’s well deserved! |
| Renée Zellweger To Star As Slim ‘Bridget Jones’ In Sequel Posted: 03 Mar 2011 10:28 AM PST A new Bridget Jones sequel is now in the works since producers promised star Renée Zellweger that she will not have to pack on the pounds to play our favorite spinster. Newly crowned Oscar winner Colin Firth is coming back as Mark Darcy, and Hugh Grant will be reprising his role as douchebag Daniel Cleaver.
So how will the movie makers explain our suddenly slim heroine? Well that’s simple. In the beginning of the movie, they’re going to have her do a weigh-in and show her reaching her weight-loss goal… FINALLY! I don’t know about you, but I’m uber excited that they are finally doing a third Bridget Jones film. The first two were hysterical and endearing. | Jon Cryer Finds A New Job (Video) Posted: 03 Mar 2011 10:09 AM PST After all the shite that Charlie Sheen caused, many people who worked on the hit TV comedy Two And A Half Men are now unemployed. Good job Charlie! Jon Cryer, who played Charlie’s brother Alan Harper on the show, managed to get himself a new job real quick though… My guess, it’s only temporary. Ellen Degeneres was kind enough to hire the comedic actor on as a temp. His duties include; answering phones, taking messages, answering stupid questions, getting coffee, etc. Just call him Max Hauser. Get it? No? Well then you need to hit up IMDb and figure out what I’m referring to. Hey Charlie, get your act together! #winning my arse. You’re the one that’s unemployed. At this stage in the game, it looks more like Jon Cryer is #winning, at least he was able to find someone willing to hire him… |
| Lindsay Lohan Releases Statement On Father Posted: 03 Mar 2011 09:45 AM PST Lindsay Lohan is sick and tired of her father Michael yapping to the press about her constantly. After he joined the new season of “Celebrity Rehab”, it was said that she felt he would embarrass the family. (Like he could tarnish the Lohan name any further?!??) Still, she doesn’t want him talking about her any more! Period, the end — FINAL.  In a new statement, she said, “I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging.” Michael has said to the media that he had no plans to continue talking about Lindsay, but he does just the opposite. It’s sad, really. He says that he wants to keep their family together, yet he acts like a fool right afterward.
I can’t say that I blame Lindsay for wanting her father to STFU and sit down. He blabs about everything to the press. And while we’re on the topic of blabbing to the media, her mother needs to shut it, too. |
| Jimmy Fallon Is ‘Winning’ In Charlie Sheen Sketch – Video Posted: 03 Mar 2011 09:03 AM PST This clip is so funny that I just had to share it with you. In a new sketch, Jimmy Fallon takes on the tiger blooded WINNER, Charlie Sheen! It’s so good that Jimmy should consider making Charlie parodies as his regular job. It’s the same gobbledeegook rambling nonsense that you’ve come to know and love from Charlie, added with some hilarity.  Como se dice winning, DUH! Charlie has recently revealed in one of his many cracked out interviews, that he has joined Twitter for the moolah. Of course, it’s because he’s an unemployed winner! It’s all that tiger’s blood and Adonis DNA working for him. Given how funny this is, there are talk show hosts that don’t look at this in such a funny light. Craig Ferguson has said that he will not poke fun at Charlie, possibly because he’s mentally ill. Still, you can join along with Charlie and be on the “winning” team or you don’t. Either way, we love the view from up here. Ha. |

| Zac Efron Holding Hands With A Man? Posted: 03 Mar 2011 07:21 AM PST It’s like we’re in High School all over again with the “National Enquirer” and their headline that Zac Efron was “caught holding hands WITH A GUY”. Doesn’t it just look like it’s just sooooo wrong — the way they put that! Check it out: 
And he supposedly did the awful guy hand holding while his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens watched. Can’t you feel the pangs of jealousy emerge??? According to this rag, Zac got cozy with some hot guy last month during a recent event. A source said, “I was shocked at how relaxed and open Zac was with this guy. He walked around talking to him, smiling and holding his hand right in front of everyone, including Vanessa.” Oh, the scandal!!! The snitch went on to say, “People were wondering if maybe it was a stunt to make Vanessa jealous. But truthfully, Zac seemed really into the guy.” Afterward Vanessa went on about her business like it was the norm and Zac focused on his guy friend. Oh noes, the whole Disney world would collapse if Zac was hooking up with a dude! Not. Let’s get over ourselves, people. If Zac likes men, then that’s his preference. I can’t say that I’d blame him, some men are just hot. Take Alexander Skarsgard, for instance. He’s yummy, so I could understand the fascination there. |
