Miley Cyrus Is A Cheap Trick - Photos Posted: 01 Jun 2010 09:13 PM PDT Miley Cyrus performed at a private concert at the 1515 Club in Paris, France, Tuesday and wore a skimpy little Cheap Trick shirt. Ugh. Stop trying to grow up too fast, kid, it just looks ridiculous! Speaking of Miley, she’s also not the sharpest tool in the shed. Apparently Miss Priss thinks she’s so smart that she doesn’t have to attend college anytime soon. It’s one thing to be rich, but it’s another thing entirely to be rich and intelligent….Something she’s definitely lacking. In a recent interview, the smartest 17-year-old ever said, “I am a firm believer that you can go back [to college] at any age you want, because my grandma went back to college at 62 years old.” Granted, she doesn’t need a college education to further herself financially, because she’s already got more money than God. But it would be nice for her business, if she had a degree. She could learn to better manage it herself, instead of relying on dear old dad. She better take off that Cheap Trick shirt, before she “jinxes the band and they break up”. Lady Gaga’s ‘Alejandro’ Video Sneak Peek - First Look Posted: 01 Jun 2010 07:43 PM PDT We’ve just gotten our grubby little hands of a sneak peek of Lady Gaga’s new video for “Alejandro”. The video snippet reminds me of something that Madonna has done, but nothing is ever original anymore, is it? I ragged on Christina Aguilera for biting off of Madonna and Gaga, so I can’t be any different to Gaga for doing the same. Even though I love this crazy broad and support her in everything she does, it has to be said that she’s a bit of a copycat herself. Okay, there I said it. Now back to waiting for the release of this awesome video. The full video for “Alejandro” is set to make its debut on June 7, 2010 and it’s been described as “a celebration and an admiration of gay love.” Check it out: You know you’re excited for this video to come out already. Lance Bass In Goth Makeup - Photos Posted: 01 Jun 2010 06:49 PM PDT Lance Bass took the liberty of updating his Facebook with these interesting photos of himself, which were taken by Mike Ruiz. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because he was also the photographer responsible for these fab shots of Adam Lambert. I’m pretty sure the makeup artist dipped into Adam Lambert’s makeup bag, because he’s rocking the goth look with this shoot. I really didn’t need to see the nerdy watery-eyed guy from ‘NSync looking like he got attacked by a wild chola with a Sharpie. But, on the other hand, this may qualify as an improvement. I don’t get what would possess him to want to wear all of this black makeup? I guess with all of this, there’s no reason to hold out for an ‘NSync reunion anytime soon, is there? The Crow Remake - Latest Update Posted: 01 Jun 2010 04:55 PM PDT In what I believe is possibly the worst idea ever conceived, The Crow remake is set to begin filming this summer. Screenplay is written by Stephen Norrington who will also serve as director on the upcoming remake. Although no actors have been attached to the film yet, apparently an invite went out to someone very huge right now… Edward Pressman, producer of the previous Crow movies had this to say; “[We've got an offer out] to a major actor and things are moving ahead very aggressively, with the aim of doing the film this year” “The setting is the southwest — the Mexico/Arizona area — and an urban [setting], Detroit or Pittsburgh or something like that.” “There are two locations that the film is set. Its initial platform is in the southwest and then it moves to the big city in the north, middle or eastern America, and then back.” “The Crow itself is a creature in this movie — it’s not just a bird.” “It’s got a personality and a character. Not like Godzilla exactly, but it’s very different [and has] a more active role in the story.” “Obviously it’s a different time and a different idea, but I think Stephen is a very talented fellow and I’m very excited to work with him.” “I think it’s a very different conception [than the original film]. After the first ‘Crow,’ there were so many other films that were inspired by it, by its look. Steve is an artist himself, and he’s created a very different visual idea.” Better not be Robert Pattinson…. Or maybe it should be? Can you imagine? TEEHEE! Dirty hair, white clown makeup - which he’s probably used to by now! - brooding… Wait a minute! That sounds awfully familiar… Oh right, the sparkle-pire Edward! (lol) I hope it’s someone like Johnny Depp, because anything less than that will NOT make me waste my time seeing this. If Depp signed as the lead, it would add some credibility and make the film worth a look-see. The original 1994 film starring Brandon Lee was a classic. One of my favorite movies of all time. Then came the sequels… PLURAL. Why Hollyweird insists on ruining a good thing, I will never understand. The movie making machine really needs to start turning out original ideas. No more remakes. No more sequels. And this re-imagining bullcrap… what’s that all about? Lindsay Lohan Having Wisdom Teeth Pulled Posted: 01 Jun 2010 07:18 AM PDT Well if this isn’t some extraordinary timing! Apparently, Lindsay Lohan has decided to have her wisdom teeth pulled. You know what that means, right? Drugs! Lindsay has been fitted for her latest ankle accessory and has already gotten around some of the rules with a doctor’s note. Currently, she is only allowed to take Adderall (for ADD) and Ambien (for sleep) per the court’s instructions. Now, since she’s getting some teeth yanked, it’s very likely that her dentist will prescribe some sort of painkiller for her. The good ol’ doc will probably hook her up with some Vicodin (in excess, no doubt) or Percocets. For a reported prescription drug addict, this could spell disaster. And for someone who’s getting their drug input and output watched like a hawk, it may mean trouble for the starlet. Last night, she tweeted, “night night… before i am bed ridden from getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow - wish me luck - i’m scared :( xx” I would be scared too if I had to undergo that kind of procedure without pain medication. The thing is, I’ll bet she has her attorney make some special arrangement with the judge, so that she’s allowed to take Percocets or whatever they’re going to give her. She’s spoiled like that…but some small part of me wants to see her suffer, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Or maybe until she starts making decent movies again. Iron Man will not Appear in Thor and Captain America Posted: 31 May 2010 03:54 PM PDT Marvel Comics has been on a movie making tirade, and the ball just keeps on rolling. The release of The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor have been paving the way for the ultimate super-hero film; The Avengers. Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau revealed on KROQ radio that Robert Downey Jr’s character Tony Stark will not appear in any of the Marvel Universe films that are leading up to The Avengers, which is to be released in 2012. “[Downey's] not in Thor, he’s not in [Captain America: The First Avenger] which are the two movies for next summer” “I’m not sure where The Avengers goes. There is no shooting draft written yet. It’s going to be a big undertaking for Marvel to actually incorporate what happened in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and The Hulk.” “All that has to inform one unified vision in The Avengers. It’s a very exciting prospect. And certainly, Tony Stark is not going to be involved in any of the movies until that one.” The Avengers will be directed by Joss Whedon ( Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse ) and will star a bunch of hot men in the super-hero roles. Lindsay Lohan - Shows off SCRAM Device - Photo Posted: 31 May 2010 01:49 PM PDT On saturday night I tweeted Lindsay Lohan asking her to take a picture of herself wearing her court appointed SCRAM bracelet. And apparently she complied. I doubt highly that it was my tweet that made her do it, but I am fairly certain that she was getting enough requests to see it. Lilo was stuck in Cannes when she should have been appearing in court. This pissed off Judge Marsha Revel who then ordered a bench warrant for Lindsay’s arrest. Bail was set at $100,000 and was paid before Lohan got back to the States, ensuring that she wouldn’t be arrested as soon as she entered the country. Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee Still Racist Posted: 31 May 2010 12:07 PM PDT Michelle “Bombshell” McGee still isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. She’s still saying stupid crap in order to draw attention to herself. I am still in utter shock that this trashbucket is still famous. She had sex with a married man and is profiting from it like mad. The state of the world is in disarray when this slutbag can make money from other people’s misery. During an interview yesterday on Toronto TV show, etalk, Michelle defended the photos that surfaced featuring her in full Nazi regalia. Of the photos, she said, “I don’t believe it’s racism at all. Anti-Semitism? Yes. If that was the intention of putting the costume on.” The interviewer, Elaine Lui said that Anti-Semitism is a form of racism, Michelle said, “That’s your view on that. I don’t see it that way.” Michell also spoke of the cheating scandal with Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James. She said, “In a twisted type of way, I guess Sandra should be thankful that I did come forward and let her know that her husband did cheat on her.” Thankful?!?!??? What kind of crack is this broad smoking? Seriously, that takes a lot of cojones to be that crass. I can’t believe she feels that Sandra owes her any thanks for messing up their family. It takes two to tango, but she was a willing participant. But someone’s gotta think of the children! Right? Well, Miss Sluttypants is only thinking of her own clan. She said, “I have two beautiful boys to take care of, I’m a single mom. So yeah, I have profited off of this. It’s also my first priority is to take care of my kids, to make sure they have a roof over their heads and food….I will do what it takes to support my children.” I guess she will do anything to take care of her own. Justin Bieber Featuring Jaden Smith ‘Never Say Never’ - Video Posted: 31 May 2010 11:33 AM PDT Justin Bieber’s new song, “Never Say Never” featuring Jaden Smith, has just premiered and it’s pretty good! I guess the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree with Jaden, he’s definitely got talent. Pairing him up with Justin for the “Karate Kid” song was just pure genius. He definitely has his dad’s dance moves and voice. You can tell he’s going to go far in music and movies, just like Will. The movie is due out in theaters on June 11, 2010. I can’t wait to see how it compares to the original. Are you looking forward to it’s release? So cute! Don’t you just wanna pinch their cheeks?

Racism Alive & Well With CNN - Video Posted: 31 May 2010 10:43 AM PDT CNN aired a story about a 103-year-old African American lady who is still cruising around in her Cadillac Coupe De Ville. The only problem was that they played a song by Coolio, when she entered her car and it contained an racist obscenity. The N-word, contained in Coolio’s song, “Fantastic Voyage”, played unedited, at the end of the segment dedicated to Gladys Flamer, who is still driving around in her Caddy. Moments later, anchor Kyra Phillips apologized for the song, saying, “We aired some music just a few minutes ago, and, obviously for those of you that heard it, it was the wrong music that aired. We apologize for that. It was a terrible mistake. And we’re working very hard to make up for it.” The lyrics in question: "Ain't no bloodin', Ain't no crippin' / Ain't no punk-a** n***a's set trippin' / everybody's got a stack and it ain't no crack / and it really don't matter…" There has been no word as to how an error such as this occurred. They should also explain how they’re “working hard” to make up for it, because I really want to know. How does one even correlate the fact that she’s an elderly lady still driving with “Fantastic Voyage”? I’m sure someone’s getting fired for this one. Nightmare on Elm Street Writer to pen Ramones Biopic Posted: 31 May 2010 07:46 AM PDT I just read something that made me super giddy! There is going to be a Ramones BIOPIC! OMG! Wesley Strick, the guy who wrote the crappy remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, has been hired by Fox Searchlight to write the screenplay. I hope he doesn't butcher this like he did with my fave movie villain Freddy Kruger. His apparent source material will be the memoir from deceased singer Joey Ramone's brother Micky Leigh, entitled; 'I Slept with Joey Ramone’. I'm not too concerned with Strick screwing this up, after all, he did pen the screenplay for Cape Fear, and that was an AWESOME film. There are tons of rumors on who will be cast as the famous rockers, but no solid word yet. [Click on the thumbnails to get a larger view] One thing is for sure, whoever gets to play Joey, it most certainly won’t be pretty. That’s all I’m saying on that. But don't worry I'll be all over this one like a fat kid on a Smartie. I had the pleasure of spending some time at CBGB's before they finally shut down in 2006. Let me tell ya, there is nothing like seeing a show at this legendary venue, I just wish I would have been able to watch Joey and the boys play in their natural habitat.
